It is the prerogative of the president each year to award a Lifetime Volunteer Achievement Award and at the Spring Banquet outgoing president Lisa Ganucheau honored member Gina Rebman for her dedi-cation and service to the HBAA and Houston Community.
“There are so many (members) that give tirelessly to our programs and events,” she said. “But I kept thinking and thinking (of whom to choose). Then Jaworski award, I sent out a request for check-in volunteers, with an arrival time of 6:45 a.m. and (Gina) was the first to volunteer. I thought, “I have a winner.”
Rebman Has served the HBAA in various positions, including but not limited to: Spring Luncheon Co-Chair 2010, reservations chair 2013, NYA18 Chair 2011-2017, Charitable Fund Treasurer 2012-2014, CF President 2004-2005, HBAA President 2003-2004 and has spent numerous years as Courtesy and Condo-lences writer, member of the Habitat House committee and Do The Right Thing committee.
Rebman has also served her community outside of the Auxiliary as: President of the Lakeside CC Women’s Association, Development Board of Lifeline Chaplaincy—Church of Christ’s chaplaincy corp to Med Center, Board of Advi-sors for Hospitality Apartments for MD Anderson Cancer Patients, Bering Drive Church
